Navideshahed: The congress of martyr Mottahary’s thoughts was held on Sunday in Islamic Cultural Center located in New Delhi, India.


According to Navideshahed report quoted by Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) : The Head of Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiyeh Community Center of New Delhi in his speech said: “"Holding this conference is a great opportunity for Indian people to get familiarized with personalities, thoughts, and religious issues and scientific services of Martyr Morteza Motahhary.


Hojatoleslam 'Mehdi Mahdavi Pour' added: "dialogue about the ideas of this great Allameh requires much time and accuracy and it is not possible to express and draw the personality of that great person in a few sessions and a few articles.”?

He continued: Martyr Mottahary was a comprehensive thinker, but in books, publications and lectures he always observed the doubts and he would respond the deviation that would be led toward the youths.

Regarding this issue that martyr Mottahary would indicate how the enemies of Islam have stood against Islamic thoughts and he would respond he added: "During the time of Mottahary there were three intellectual paths against Islam and Mottahary wrote different books regarding these bad thoughts of Islam’s enemies as well.”?


He said: “One of the parties was communist, though communist faced with thought’s failure. The other party was liberalism and the thought and philosophy of west. The third party was the critics of Islam that this criticism interpretation has been sourced from martyr Mottahary. Those who had this though were apparently Muslim and they had Islamic thoughts, but they had communist and western thoughts internally that they would express these thoughts in the form of Islam.

The Head of Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiyeh Community Center of New Delhi in India said: “The truth is that martyr Mottahary attempted so much to disclose the critical ideas and thoughts that were apparently Islamic, but the backend was diversion. He did so many efforts and he wrote many intellectual lectures, articles and books and finally he was martyred with these seemingly perverse Muslims.”?


He said: "Of course Mottahary was not against the new Islamic thoughts and he believed that Islam is a religion that can be introduced to the future generation at any time from different directions.”?
He said: " Religious though is a really significant movement, but he believed the new approach should be based on religious thinking and religious right approach is based on looking at texts from the Koran and the Hadith.”?

He said: " Martyr Mottahary had a great share of the Islamic awakening and revival of Islamic thought and today if you observe that the Islamic awakening has occurred in Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain and Tunisia, this happened due to the thoughts of several persons in the world and one of the most prominent of them is Allameh Mottahary.”?

‘Hojatoleslam Mahdavi Pour’ said: “His books were translated into various languages and they were expressed in universities and scientific centers of the world and it put its effects on the Islamic world awakening.”?

He said: "Martyr Mottahary knew that combat against diversion opinion which was expressed under the name of Islam would end up with a high cost for him and that maybe some kill him, but he would consider it as a religious duty.”?

He added: "The group called Alfrqan who killed Mottahary wrote different books and these books had been criticized for several times by martyr Allamah Motahhari and he had advised them to give up these thoughts, but unfortunately they did not give up these thoughts and they assassinated this great scholar after the victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran.

Professor “Akhtar Al-Vasa”?, the university professor of India’s Islamic National University in this congress said: “Not only martyr Mottahary was a scholar, thinker and great interpreter of holy Koran, but also he was a great fighter of the Islamic history as well and he was martyred because he wanted to defend Islam and the right.”?

He said: "Mottahary was one of the great personalities, but unfortunately the people and Muslims of India and the world might not be aware of this issue so well and only theologians are familiar with him.”?


He said: "I think that this is not abnormal , because we know the Islamic Revolution in Iran because of the great name of Imam Khomeini (RA) and indeed the Islamic Revolution of Iran has been linked to the name of Imam Khomeini and some other great characteristics such as martyr Mottahary must be known specially outside of Iran.”?

He said: "Iran's Islamic revolution and the establishment of Islamic regime is one of the best and biggest events during the thousand years of Islamic history and martyr Mottahary with Imam Khomeini played an important role for this victory.”?


Professor Akhtar Al-Vasa added: “Martyr Mottahary thoughts and ideas were so awakening at the time of publishing the western thoughts for the Muslims of the world and they had great roles in the thoughts of Muslims against western thoughts.”?

The Head of the Indian Institute of Mottahary also told the conference: “This is the sixth Conference of Mottahary’s thoughts that are being held in India and it was welcomed by educators and experts as well.”?

Maulana Sayyid 'Jalal Haider Naghavi' added: The purpose of this congress is indeed introducing the thoughts and ideas of martyr Mottahary to the people and society of India; So that the people of India will have more knowledge regarding the thoughts, educations and thoughts of this great Iranian philosopher.”?

He added: For continuation more introduction, access and familiarity of the Indian scholars with martyr Mottahary, some journals including “Pure Thought”? and the analysis of Ahle Beit will be published by this institute.

Maulana Haider Naghavi also said: “Translation of martyr Mottahary’s books in Indian and Urdu languages are the other programs that will be done to make the people know martyr Mottahary in India.”?
