The First Session on Criticizing the Book “Complete Text of Martyrs’ Wills”? Will Be Held

In an interview with the reporter of Navideshahed; Mohammad Ali Faghih, General Director of Publication and Information Dissemination of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? said: “On the occasion of the “Sacred Defense Week”?, the session on criticizing the first volume in the series of “Complete Text of Martyrs’ Wills”? will be held in “Sara - ye Ahl - e Ghalam”? [House of Writers and Publisher].”?
He further added: “Dr Manouchehr Akbari, Head of “Persian Literature Encyclopedia Foundation”?, Dr Mojtaba Rahmandoust, Consultant of the President in Isargaran Affairs and Amir Razagh - zadeh, Expert in “Sacred Defense Studies and Researches Center”? will attend in this criticizing session. The mentioned experts will study and criticize the Book “Complete Text of Martyrs’ Wills”? in this session.”?
As for the Book “Complete Text of Martyrs’ wills”?, General Director of Publication and Information Dissemination of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? said: “This book is one of the reference books which have been allocated to the documents remained from the imposed war. The first volume of these series of books has been allocated to wills of martyrs from Kohgilouyeh va Boyer Ahmad Province. This book has been complied based on scientific methods and also the method of correcting hand written copies of wills. This book includes picture of the martyr, personal information about every martyr, a summary of the will as well as the scanned picture of the original will of the martyr. As for positive and strong points of this book; we can refer to defining key words, explaining the concept of each text by referring to Koran’s verses as well as stories and sentences narrated by the innocent imams.”?
In this respect, Director of “Shahed Publication”? said: “The parts of wills that have been explained by referring to Koran’s verses and the sentences said by the Islam Prophet and the innocent imams merely indicate that the writer of the will has referred to particular Koran verses or sentences which have been on his mind while writing the will. The martyr has indirectly referred to them in his wills. These Koran verses and “Hadith”? [sentences said by the Islam prophet and the innocent imams] have been on minds of combatants while writing their wills. By applying documentary standards, “Shahed Publication”? has clarified the referred verses and “Hadith”? as well as the atmosphere of minds of writers of wills.”?
General Director of Publication and Information Dissemination of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? further stated: “This book thoroughly publishes the complete text of martyrs’ wills within a long process. In these series of books, the wills of martyrs from all parts of the country will be published in a completely scientific and documentary style. And the first volume of these series of books has been published at the present time. In this respect, this book is the first book after the Islamic Revolution that publishes the original wills of martyrs - as documents - in a comprehensive, documentary and scientific form.”?
In conclusion, Faghih said: “In the criticizing session of this book which will be held on the occasion of the “Sacred Defense Week”?, few other books published by “Shahed Publication”? will be unveiled. As for these books; I can refer to “Basij in Words of Martyrs”?, the seven -volume series of “Islamic Revolution Memorials”? and “Few Steps till Text”?.”?
2 - 1250 Titles of Books in the Field of Sacred Defense Will Be Delivered to Libraries and Cultural Centers of Alborz Province
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Following efforts made by “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? in Alborz Province, 1250 titles of books with the subjects of sacred defense, self sacrifice and martyrdom were delivered to libraries, high education centers as well as cultural and military centers in Alborz Province.
According to the reporter of Navideshahed; Ebrahim Rajvani, Head of Sacred Defense Specialized Library of “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? in Alborz Province explained about this action and said: “On the occasion of beginning of the “Sacred Defense Week”? and honoring 30 years of resistance and in line with propagating the rich culture of self sacrifice and martyrdom and also equipping sacred defense section of libraries in Alborz Province, the second phase of delivering specialized books in the field of sacred defense was completed.”?
In continuation, Rajvani said: “The first phase of this activity was carried out during the anniversary of freeing Khorramshahr on Khordad 3rd [May 24th]. In the first phase of this activity, 1000 titles of books were delivered to libraries of this province. And in the second phase of this activity, 1250 titles of books costing 40 million Rials were delivered to 15 public libraries, 7 high education centers as well as 6 military and cultural centers. The second phase of this activity was carried out in recent days and on the occasion of the “sacred Defense Week”?.”?
Rajvani also expressed gratitude to the general director of libraries of Alborz Province for his cooperation. Rajvani said: “Mr Mohseni, our dear brother paved grounds for bilateral cooperation in this respect.”?
