Third Day of Mollaqolipour’s Demise Commemorates

TEHRAN, (SCIB) – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad- Hossein Saffar-Harandi, Mohammad-Reza Jaffari-Jelveh (the Deputy Minister in Cinema), Mohsen Rezayee (head of the Expediency Council), Javad Shamghadari (the president’s mentor in artistic affairs), Alireza Rezadad (head of Farabi Cinema Foundation), Amir-Reza Khadem and Ahmad Tavakolli (members of the Parliament) along with a large number of artists and people attended the ceremony which was held for the commemorating the third day of Mollaqolipour's demise on March 10. According to the Shahed Cultural Information Base (SCIB), Hojjatoleslam Rashad, member of the Superior Council of Cultural Revolution and head of the art section of Institute of Islamic Research mentioned in his speech, “Rasool was always restless; he started his work in “Neynava”? and culminated it in “Karbala”?. He went on to say, “Mollaqoli Pour was trained with Imam Hussein’s values; he began his simple activities in Sayed Olshohada Mosque; in the poorest areas of Tehran and made it to the peaks of Sacred Defense Cinema.”? Rashad stressed, “He had a lot to say and he was in a hurry to state all of it, his whole life was spent with love and affection.”? Accordingly, another ceremony will be held tomorrow from 15 to 17 in Sayed Olshohada Mosque on Qazwin Street. The commemoration of the 7th day of his demise will be held in Balal Mosque (IRIB premises) on Tuesday, March 13 from 13:00 to 16:30.
