“Empty Frame on the Wall”? Documentary Will Go to Fajr Film Festival

In an interview with Navideshahed reporter; Hamed Khosravi, the Director of the documentary film of “Empty Frame on the Wall”? announce3d the above news and said: “This documentary film is about the life of Mozaffar family’s martyrs. Five sons of Mozaffar family with father of the family departed for battle fields during war. And three sons of this family were finally martyred during war.”?

Khosravi further added: “The story of this documentary film is narrated from the point of view of mother of the family supposing that sons had not been martyred yet. The mother is waiting for her sons and husband to come back. First, the audience thinks if all five sons of this family have been martyred or not. And this suspense causes the audience to follow this family by the end of the film.”?
As for characteristics of this documentary film, Khosravi said: “In contrary with other documentary films, this film has been narrated from a different and new point of view. It is a different experience in which narration remains faithful to the reality while a kind of mental documentary is narrated.”?
As for visual characteristics of this documentary film, Khosravi said: “In the documentary film of “Empty Frame on the Wall”?, we have tried to prevent current form of making documentary films in our country. Majority of documentary films are recorded by the technique of carrying camera on hands and producing unclear pictures. We have made efforts to enter a completely cinematic structure with professional techniques.”?
In continuation, Khosravi said: “As other films, this film is significant for the way of narrating. And we aimed that both ordinary and special audiences are attracted by this way of narrating.”?
In conclusion, he explained about location of recording this film and said: “The film has been recorded in the Mozaffar’s family home and some other houses in center of Tehran as well as “Behesht Zahra”? (Tehran cemetery).”?
Khosravi further referred to the film crew and said: “Mohammad Aasehghi will be the cameraman and Ashkan Pour-tajik will cooperate as the production assistant and sound recorder. Ali-reza Soltani will take photographs and Hamid-reza Najafi will edit this documentary film.”?
It should be mentioned that production of the documentary film of “Empty Frame on the Wall”? will start in the near future. This film is one of the productions of “Shahed Cultural Institution”?. Hamed Khosravi will be the director and executive producer of this documentary film.
