TEHRAN, (SCIB) - The secretariat of “Axe and the Rose Garden”? Poetry special for Martyr Abdol-ali Mazari published public announcement for releasing the third volume of these series of poetry books.

According to the report of Navideshahed as quoting Secretariat of Nationwide Public Announcement of the 3rd Volume of “Axe and the Rose Garden”? Poetry Series; poets in the field of resistance can send their poems in mourning of Martyr Abdol-ali Mazari to the Secretariat of “Axe and the Rose Garden”? Poetry latest by December 21st, 2008. The secretariat is located at the following address:
No 50, the 4th Alley, Hasht-metri Louleh Street, Imam Khomeini Street, Qom.
The received poems will be published by the secretariat after being studied technically and literally.
“Axe and the Rose Garden”? is the name of the series of poetry books which are said in mourning of Martyr Abdol-ali Mazari.
The first and second volumes of these series of books have been published by now. These series of books contain poems said by great poets such as Seyed Aboutaleb Mozafari and Seyed Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi.

Two volumes of “Axe and the Rose Garden”? were collected by Mohammad-sharif Saeedi in the 1st and 2nd anniversaries of martyrdom of Martyr Mazari. And the long introductory written by Seyed Aboutaleb Mozafari was included in these two volumes. The first volume contained 75 poems said by 42 poets and the 2nd volume contained 95 poems said by 44 poets. And the longest poem was a 156- couplet ode written by Mohammad Azizi.
Martyr Mazari was a Shiite religious scientist. He was one of the great leaders of Islamic jihad and resistance in Afghanistan. He made lots of efforts to fulfill national and Islamic government in his country based on social justice and providing the rights of minorities and deprived people, Shiite in particular. He was finally martyred by Al-Ghaede International Terrorist Group and Taleban after being captured along with seven people of his companions. He was martyred following inhuman tortures.
