English and Urdu translations of eight books on biography of Iranian martyrs have been published by Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs in cooperation with Organization of Islamic Disseminations in Kashmir, India.

At the sixth commemoration ceremony for the literary works on resistance and jihad held this morning, Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Hussayniyeh of Imam Khomeini (ra) in Hamedan, Ayatollah Khamenei's commentaries on three books about the Holy Defense were revealed.

‘Arvand-Khoon’ (Arvand, The River of Blood) is a play written based on the story of 175 Iranian divers who were painfully martyred during the Sacred Defense which is published by Siraf publications.

A more year was spent from distance between events of Saddam Hossein imposed war against Iran and us, and we met the commemoration of Sacred Defense Week in 2016.
