Biography of Martyr Mahmoud Karimi

Martyr Mahmoud Kazemi was born in an Islamic and religious family Kankan village ( village in Fasa – Fars Province- Iran ) in 1959 . they moved to Abadan as he was born . when he was 5 years old they had returned to Kankan , he had spent the elementary period at " Shapoor school " in the village , he had helped his father in farming during the period .

He was too kind from the childhood that everybody loved him . he had finished the primary level in another village and took his diploma at Hekmat Technical college in the Electronic field . during the free time he worked as a worker and most of the time he helped his family and the poor . he participated in Quran class , he loved studding , specially the Islamic and Religious books .

He participated in the Islamic revolution rallies in 1977 . all the time he courage people and his sisters to keep their Hijab . when the Shah of Iran ( King of Iran ) went to Fasa , he tried to persuade the women to keep their Hijab . he did everything for the sake of God and invited people to do their religious affairs . he was very kind to his family and relatives .

As he had taken his diploma , the war began between Iran and Iraq . he went to the fore front from Kerman to fight against the Bathi regime ( crucial regime during sacred defense ) . he was martyred in 1982 by the bullet .

When the training courses was finished, our commanders started to create different Battalions . some of our friends went to Kurdistan while " Ranjbar " , " Sadeghi " , " Karimi " , and " Sedaghat " sent to Tehran. We moved to the south in the Lavizan ( place in Tehran ) garrison by train . when we arrived there , they again divided us . we all stood in a line since we prefer to be in a group but the commander divided us , Mr. Sedaghat and Karimi moved to another line .

The first operation started in 1982 ( Fath al mobin ) . Dasht Abbas region ( name of a place ) was under the control of the operation . at the night of attack martyr Karimi had left the battalion to visit his family , he was martyr Sedaghat whose clothes got fired and all his body burnt at the moments of the operation .

When martyr Karimi came back he asked for martyr Sedaghat … where is Sedaghat ? at first we refuse to say , when he insisted on his question … we explained his friend’s martyrdom . while he was crying , said : I will be there .. swear to God … Ghanbar , why did not you wait for me ?

Another operation was on the way , after dinner and prayer … they got ready … they hugged and kissed each other … and spoke about thei martyrdom .

While he was crying , said : tomorrow I will see you Ghanbar … he was assure that he will be martyr . I told him you should be alive to improve some forces like Ghanbar …

During the operation a bullet shut his head ( Mahmoud’s head ) and joined him to his friend . at the moment I was beside him … goodbye … do not leave me alone … told me at the last seconds .

That was a very hard moment , while I hugged him , our commander screamed and said : left him alone and help the injuries , I kissed his bloody face and went to help the another injuries .
