The critical historical events of this decent month have been so much and huge which they can make humans to deeply think about its divine hugeness.

The bitter and sweet events of this month has created some ups and downs for the man and reviewing these events and adventures can be considered as a lesson for the wise people of the earth.

These events are varied from the death to the war and commitment and ascension to the demise of innocence history and from the split head of Ali Mortaza (AS) and many other issues.

Ramadan month is the month of great historical events in the context of fear, bitterness and sweetness of the ancient times.

The magazines of Kuffeh inhabitants to Imam Hussein (AS) and the demise of her Excellency Khadijeh Kobra as Omol Momenin, the occasion of promising brotherhood and the birthday of Imam Mojtaba (AS), the month of ascension and Badr war, the month of capturing Mecce and Ghazveh Tabuk and eventually the month of martyrdom of the first innocent Imam of the world, the chief of the faithful Ali (AS).

On the occasion of Ramadan month, the Scientific and Cultural Service of Seminary News Agency has described some of the events of this respectful month.

• The events of the first day of God month:

The death of Marvan

On this day in the year 65 A.H, Marvan Ebn Hakam passed away at the age of 81 years old in Damascus and he was a caliph for 9 months.

Marvan was son of Hakam Ebn Abi Al-As and he had been nicked named as the frog son of frog. He and his father had been damned by the prophet (May God send greetings to him), even Ayesheh said to Marvan: “I certify that the prophet (May God send greetings to him) damned your father while you were in his rigid body.”?

• Tabuk War

Tabuk war took place on the first day of Ramadan month in the year 9 A.H (This war is known as Fazeheh as well; because the hypocrites of Medina and all of those persons who had decided to kill the prophet of God (May God Send Greetings to Him) had to retreat and they were disgraced as well.

The army which took part in this war was known as ‘Jish Al-Asreh’, because they took part in the war despite of many difficulties and hardness they had to tolerate. It was the time of collecting the products.

The demise of her Excellency Nafiseh (S)

On this day of the year 208 A.H, the religious and decent lady Nafiseh Khatoon (S), the daughter of Hassan Ebn Zeid Ebn Hassan Ebn Ali Ebn Abitaleb (AS) passed away in Egypt.

The husband of that great lady was Eshagh Motaman, the son of his Excellency Sadegh (AS) and from the side of mother, he was a relative to Mr. Qmar Bani Hashem (AS).

Her Excellency Nafiseh (S) had dig a grave for herself and she would always perform her prayer in the grave. Also she would recite Koran verses in the grave as well.

Demise of Sheikh Mofid

The demise of the great cleric Mohammad EbN Mohammad Ebn Al-Naman known as Sheikh Mofid

Sheikh Mofid passed away in Baghdad and due to his great scientific position, all the Muslims including the Shiites and Sunnis cried from him.

The Death of Ziyad Ebn Abiyeh

Ziyad Ebn Abiyeh was killed in the year 53 A.H in Kufah. He was known as Ziyad Ebn Abiyeh, Ziyad Ebn Omeh, Ziyad Ebn Obeid and Ziyad Ebn Somayeh and since many fathers had been considered for him, he had been known as Ziyad Ebn Abiyeh.

1. The arrival of Kufah inhabitants letters to Imam Hussein (AS)

In the year 60 A.H, some of the inhabitants of Kufah brought some letters of Kufah inhabitants to Imam Hussein ( 602). Among the letters, the names of Soleiman Ebn Sard and Mosayeb Ebn Najbeh and Rafaheh Ebn Shadad Bajli and Habib Ebn Mazaher and some of the Shiites had been listed among the letters. These letters were brought to Imam Hussein (AS) by Abdollah Ebn Masmah Hamedani and Abdollah Ebn Val.

2. Demise of Her Excellency Khadijeh (S)

On this day, Khadijeh Kubra (S) passed away (603). This quotation is based on the quotations mentioned after 45 days passing from the demise of Mr. Abutaleb (AS).

That great lady was the first wife of the prophet (May God send greetings to him) and until the time that her Excellency Khadijeh (S) was alive, the prophet of God did not marry with another lady. Leading to Islam and her services to the prophet (May God Send Greetings to Him) were so much and abundant. Regarding the greatness of this lady of Islam it is enough to say that she was the daughter of her Excellency Sadighe Tahereh (S) and all the strains of the prophet (May God Send Greetings to Him) is ended up to her (606).

12th

The occasion of brotherhood promise

On this day of the first year of A.H, the prophet of God (May God Send Greetings to Him) promised brotherhood to his followers and he considered the chief of the faithful Ali (AS) as his own brother (609).

13th

The death of Hajaj Saghfi

In the year 95 A.H on such a day, the cruel and brutal oppressor Hajaj Ebn Yosof Saghfi died. At the time of Valid Ebn Abol Malek, he passed away due to the Syphilis infection in his stomach.

He martyred many of the friends and Shiites of the Chief of the faithful Ali (AS) including Komeil Ebn Ziyad Nakhaei (612), Ghanbar the servant of the chief of the faithful Ali (AS) (613).

15th

1. The birthday of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS)

At a night in the mid of Ramadan month in the year 3 A.H, the Shiites Imam, Abu Mohammad Ebn Ali Ebn Abitaleb (AS) was born in Medina (619). The nicknames of that Imam included: Sayyed, Sabt, Amni, Hojjat, Bar, Naghi, Zaki, Mojtaba and Zahed.

1. The ascension of prophet

The ascension of the prophet (May God Send Greetings to Him) has taken place 5 years after his prophetic mission on such a day (624) and a religious verse Sobhan Al-Lazi Osra Babedeh Leila Men Al-Masjed Al-Haram Ela Masjed Al-Aghsa was descended in this regards (625).

2. Badr War

On the Friday of the year 2 A.H, the Badr war took place (631). The number of the Muslims was 313 persons and the number of martyrs was 9 to 14 persons. Also the number of the infidels was 950 persons. Those who had been killed from the infidels was 70 persons and 70 persons of them were captured as well.

During this war Abujahl was killed as well (633). Abujahl Hosham Ebn Maghireh Makhzoomi was one of the bad enemies of the prophet (May God Send Greetings to Him). Although is name was Hosham, but he was too bad, cruel and brutal and due to thee features he was nicknamed as Abujahl.

3. The murder of Ayesheh

On the 17th night of Ramadan month in the year 58 A.H, Ayesheh, the daughter of Abubakr was killed by the hand of Moaviyeh in Medina. The event of Jamal and the killing of about 20000 persons from the Muslims was one of the famous crimes of her (639).

The attack against the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) by a sword

On the 19th day of Ramadan month in the year 40 A.H, Ebn Moljem as a hypocrite attacked the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) by a poison sword. The sword was hit in the head of Imam Ali (AS). In the morning of the 19th day of Ramadan month, after the morning calling for prayer, the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) entered the mosque and he was performing his prayer. When he wanted to raise his head from the first prostration, Shabib attacked that Imam, but his sword made a mistake. After that Ebn Molejm that God damn him attacked the Imam and he hit the poison sword to the head of that Imam and he split his head. The respectful beard of the Imam was covered with much blood and his decent voice got louder and he recited a religious note.

The voice of Gabriel was heard that the murder of Ali Mortaza (AS) is the murder of great pious and Imam of God.

20th

1. The capture of Mecca

In the year 8 A.H. Mecca was captured. During this great victory, the number of the Muslims was 12000 persons and the martyrs were 2 persons. The reason of the martyrdom of these two persons was that they were not with the Army and they had entered Mecca at the end and therefore they had been attacked and they were martyred (646).

On this day, the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) based on the demand of the prophet of God (May send Greetings to Him) in order to break the idols which existed in Kaaba, he put his sacred foot on the respectful shoulder of the prophet (647).

21st

The martyrdom of the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) took place at the night of 21st day of Ramadan month, while he was only 63 years old (651). On the 20th day of the Ramadan month, the effects of poison gasses appeared in the feet of the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS) and the respectful feet of this Imam were inflamed (652). At the night of 21st, the effects of poisons were increased in the body of the Imam. The Imam asked his children and family to gather and he said good bye to them and he also expressed his will to them. At that night he did not drink or eat any foods or drinks that they brought to him. He would only whisper the name of God. Also the sweats were dropping from his forehead the same as pearls and he would try to wipe them with his own sacred hands.

To Swear Allegiance with Imam Mujtaba (AS)

On this day, after the martyrdom of the Chief of the Faithful Ali (AS), the people swore allegiance with Imam Hassan (AS).

The murder of Ebn Moljem

Although some people believe that Ebn Moljem died on the 27th day of Ramadan month, but some of the historians have narrated that Ebn Moljem was sent to the hell by a sword blow on the 21st day of Ramadan month.

Descending of the Koran Book

Some persons believe that the 23rd night of Ramadan month is the night of descending the Koran book.

24th

The death of Abulahab

On this day, based on some quotations, Abulahab died.

In the Ramadan month of the year 6 A.H, a very intense famine occurred in Medina, therefore the prophet of God (May God Send Greetings to Him) prayed for rain.
