General Naghdi
Navideshahed: Basiji Brigadier General, Mohammad Reza Naghdi, the head of Mostazaafin Basij Organization attended in the shrine of unknown martyrs of Sanandaj city which is known as ‘Officers Club’ and he expressed a memory regarding this place as well.
According to ISNA, Commander Naghdi said: “It was the peak of conflicts between Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and the anti-revolutionary militants during the initial months of the Iran-Iraq war in Sanandaj city. This place (Officer’s Club) was the place of conflicts for the war veterans, but unfortunately it had been surrounded by the enemy. The siege lasted for a long time in a way that we did not have any drinking water to drink and we had got so thirsty. “
During the conflicts one of the war veterans was shot by the enemy and as he had fallen down on the ground and he was grabbing the soil and he was getting martyred, suddenly so much water splashed from this place and it was flowing. When the martyr dug the soil, the water started flowing and our war veterans drank the water. It was really like a divine miracle. After that all the war veterans drank so much water.
Although it seemed that the guy who was martyred was the real war veteran who satiated from the water and he shook hands with Seyed Al-Shohada (AS) and he became satiated forever. Our martyrs have such marvelous and great positions and the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran had described them as follows: “Our martyrs passed the path of 100 years within one night. The martyrs had strong beliefs in a way that seemed that had faced with 100 years of disasters and divine tests and they had passed these divine tests as well; the guys whose whole spirit and morale was full of greatness and belief in God.”?
