Martyr Chamran Walking from Beirut to Damascus, a Demonstration of the Will to Free Imam Musa Sadr

During his presence in Iran, he has played and important role for the cooperation of Iran and Palestine to strengthen the Islamic Resistance Battle.

On the 30th martyrdom anniversary of Islamic resistance myth, martyr “Mustafa Chamran”? we interviewed the ambassador of Palestine in Tehran. Salah Al-Zavavi not only was one of the close friends of martyr Chamran, but also he believes that the activities of martyr Chamran in Lebanon provided an environment for the unity of Muslims of the two countries of Palestine and Lebanon. In fact he can be considered as a model for every person who is fighter.

Salah Al-Zavavi regarding the political and military conflicts of martyr “Mustafa Chamran”? mentioned: “Martyr Mustafa Chamran was a person who did many efforts and activities to make a good relation between Arabic countries specially the two countries of Palestine and Lebanon with Iran. His activities were the manifestations of political and military issues.”?

He continued: Mustafa Chamran accomplished his education in Tehran University in 1976. He was able to get his engineering in electricity field. He took part in the, rallies and protests which would be raised against Shah’s regime crackdowns.

• Chamran was known as Aab Al-Foghara in Lebanon and Palestine

The Palestinian ambassador pointed out to this issue that martyr Chamran was popular as “Aab Al-Foghara”? in Lebanon and he said: “Chamran was a great man and he would be named as the father of the poor and orphans. He was so kind to the poor and deprived people during his lifetime. Sometimes it was observed that he would walk the distance of his school to his house that was 90 minutes (walking).

Salah Al-Zavavi pointed out to this issue that Chamran was a talented and polite man and he said: “Chamran in addition of his chastity, he was so polite and he would never pay attention to the materialistic things so much. Since he was so talented and intelligent especially in the lessons of Mathematics, he was able to be brilliant in the interpretation lesson of Hedayat School in which “Ayatollah Taleghani”? was the university professor. He was able to attend the Logic and Philosophy classes of professor Motaharri.

Martyr Chamran Liked the Sport of Wrestling to be strong enough to fight against the enemies of Islam.

The Iranian ambassador to Tehran pointed out to the all the characteristics dimensions of martyr Chamran and he said: “Chamran was an artistic man who was a calligraphist too. Since he was to be powerful enough to fight against the enemies he would exercise the sport wrestling.

He also referred to the scientific sciences of martyr Chamran in the United States of America and he said: “Martyr Chamran was one of the first persons who went to the United States of America to continue his education with scholarship. He was accepted in PhD in the field of Electronics. He was able to make a big protest against Shah’s regime in the United States of America by holding rallies against the crackdowns of the regime. He did this protest in 1964.

Salah Al-Zavavi at the continuation of this interview outlined: “Many activities were done that protests against Shah’s regime not to be done, but these protests were held against Shah’s regime by the efforts of Dr. Chamran. In fact these criticisms and protests would be held to condemn the oppressions of Shah’s regime.”?

The first familiarity of Palestinians with martyr Chamran took place in Egypt:

AML Movement was established to fight against the Zionist and freedom of Palestine

The Palestinian ambassador at the continuation of his words said: “Martyr Mustafa Chamran and Imam Musa Sadr did many efforts to form and create a united army against the Zionists and since they have a strong belief about their action, they were able to establish the AML movement.

• Islamic Resistance Party was formed to unite the people of Lebanon and Palestine
He says: Dr. Chamran started training the group “AML movement”? militarily. Imam Musa Sadr once again became serious and he opposed with the left parties of Lebanon, so he and martyr Chamran established “Islamic Resistance Party”? to unite the people of Lebanon more against the attacks of Zionists and to observe good relation between the Palestinians and Lebanese.”?

• 75000 persons were trained militarily by martyr Chamran in Lebanon
Salah Al-Zavavi pointed out to the expanded efforts of martyr Chamran and Imam Musa Sadr to fight against Zionist regime and he said: “After the establishment of “Islamic Resistance Party”?, Imam Musa Sadr attempted to absorb other forces to be able to fight against the Zionists better. So these efforts ended up with the establishment of “Senior Shiites Assembly”?. Also the expanded activities of Imam Musa Sadr and martyr Chamran were continued and they were able to train more than 75000 militants in South Lebanon.

• Training more than 150.000 persons in Soor city was another activity of AML Movement party
At the continuation of this interview he added: The efforts of Islamic Resistance Party and AML movement were continued successfully, so they were able to train more than 150.000 persons militarily in the city ‘Soor’. In fact they aimed to serve the injured patients and fight against the Zionist regime.

Salah Al-Zavavi pointed out to his recent trip to Khorramshahr city and visiting the war museum of this city and he said: “ The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran did a visit to see some of the foreign ambassadors to Khorramshahr, so we attended this gathering and visited each other. When we arrived to the war museum of Khorramshahr, I asked the authorities of the programs that the devote a time for my speeches and I told them that it is difficult that you understand my feeling; these uniforms and boots of war veterans in this museum is really sorrowful and sad, because these fighters fought for the freedom of the sacred Qods city. I believe the unity of the two countries of Iraq and Iran could help the realization of this issue better, but the war of these two countries prevent this issue.

At the continuation of this interview he notified: For the martyrs of the Sacred Defense era I cried with my heart not with my eyes, because they were not able to take steps towards the freedom of the sacred Qods, but unfortunately by the war that had been led by Saddam Hussein, the two Islamic countries stood against each other and they fought against each other too.
