Documentary Features Spiritual and Scientific Status of Martyr Motahhari

Navideshahed reported by IGNA- A documentary titled “Aftab-e Hekmat”? (sun of wisdom) has been produced in Indonesia about the spiritual and scientific status of Martyr Mortaza Motahhari and the influence of his beliefs and thoughts in the world.

The film was produced by the International Affairs Section of Martyr Motahhari Scientific and Cultural Foundation in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Jakarta.
Sadra Islamic College affiliated to Al-Mustafa international University, an Islamic center in Jakarta and a number of other scientific, cultural and religious centers of the two countries also cooperated in the project.
The documentary includes interviews with some 20 figures from Indonesia who are familiar with the Iranian scholar.
Interviews were also conducted with Mahmoud Farazande, Iranian ambassador to Indonesia, Seyyed Morteza Mousawi, head of the Islamic Center in Jakarta, Seyyed Mofid Husseini, representative of Al-Mustafa International University and head of Sadra Islamic College and Hojatullah, Iranian cultural attaché in Jakarta.
In four 30-minute episodes, the documentary investigates the role of the martyr’s works and thoughts in various nations and the influence of his beliefs on scientific, cultural and intellectual figures in those parts of the world.
The foundation plans to produce other series of the documentary in India, Turkey, and Tunisia.
The first part of the project in Indonesia was directed by Seyyed Ashraf Tabatabayi, eminent Iranian documentary filmmaker.
It will be unveiled in Jakarta in May concurrent with the martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Motahhari.
