Title: Strange Story of the Iraqi Helicopter!
The Subject in Brief:
It was announced that a MIL 24 Iraqi helicopter has landed in the region between our forces (Division 77) of Khorassan and the Iraqi forces. And the Air Force studies the issue immediately. The security service of the Air Force believes that the Iraqis had laid that helicopter as a trap; but the guys in the division say that the helicopter had might been hit or had faced with technical problems that landed in that particular region.
Then it was decided that the forces of Sepah Pasdaran [The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution] settled in the region investigate the issue. And later the Air Force starts action in case there is any possibility for moving the helicopter.
The day after, the forces of Sepah Pasdaran announce that the helicopter had landed without any reasons and it could not be a trap.
Immediately and based on the command of Captain Majidi, Homafar Yazdan Parast [Homafar is a military rank in Iran] along with a team were dispatched to the region. It was despite the fact that the region had been mined. They could go and confirm if the helicopter had faced with technical problems. And then they would command for moving the helicopter if it was possible; because it was not possible to move it from the air.
Based on the suggestion of technical team of the Air Force and following an inventive idea of one of the personnel of Division 77 of the Army, they could carry the helicopter by using a tank and a truck – that had been brought to the region for the same purpose –
The mentioned helicopter is immediately carried to Dezfoul Base. And the day after that, the Iraqi helicopters were looking for the helicopter that is kept in Aerial Museum of Sa’d Abad at the present time!
This helicopter is kept in this museum for the public exhibition.
