Latest Shahed Publications Unveiled

Navideshahed: 3 of the latest Shahed Publications works were unveiled in a national ceremony to honor war veteran writers in quite a cordial and spiritual atmosphere.

Held in Tehran Enghelab Hotel Sunday morning, the ceremony was attended by Engineer Masoud Zaribafan, the Head of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, Seyed Mohammad Husseini, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Hujjat al-Islam Gholami, the Head of Sadra Research and Cultural Center and the Secretary of the Supreme Leader's Bureau Cultural Council, Mohammad Hamzi Zadi, the President of Soureh Mehr Publications, General Mohsen Ansari, the Vice-President of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, and the vanguard in Holy Defense writing such as Golali Babaei, Davoud Abadi, and Parvin Qods.

Besides 10 top Holy Defense writers whose works hold the handwriting of the Supreme Leader, and 33 chosen war veteran writers being cited, Masouma Sepehri, a martyr's daughter, Ayoub Nasir Oughli, husband to a 70% injured veteran, and Nour al-Din Arefi, the narrator of "Nour al-Din, the Son of Iran" book were honored in the ceremony which was started with lectures given by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Head of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, and some war veteran and elevated writers.

Also three following publications by Shahed Publications were unveiled and their writers were cited:
1. "The Awake Eye" by Veteran Jalil Amjadi which is the story-like biography of Martyr Mahmoud Amirkhani published in 3000 copies by Shahed Publications.

2. 'The Token of Love" by Hussein Yaghouti on the memories of Mohammad Faramarzi, a veteran POW, published in 3000 copies by Shahed Publications.

3. "The Days 2" by Hussein Yaghouti on the memories of 6 veterans namely Engineer Mohammad Ali Tourangi, Seyed Ismael Mousavi, Davoud Ameri, and Seyed Aboulfazl Husseini, about Holy Defense, Islamic Revolution and their campaigns.
