Imam Hussein's Sira, Virtues to be Discussed in India

Navideshahed: Imam Hussein's Sira and virtues will be discussed on July 13 at a forum at Kazemeyn Husseiniyyah in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh State of India.

According to IQNA'ss branch in South Asia, the program titled "Fateh-e Karbala (conqueror of Karbala)" has been planned on the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).

A number of scholars and religious intellectuals as well as Muslim citizens will participate in the program which will be organized by Husseini Academy of the region.

Ijaz Zeidi, an organizer of the forum said that the program will begin at 9 P.M. local time with recitation of the Holy Qurans verses.

The program is due to be addressed by Abbas Irshad Naqawi, religious preacher of the country who will talk about Sira and moral virtues of the Imam based on Quranic verses and Hadiths of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

Meytham Zeydi and Zahed Kazemi, Indian intellectuals will also address the program.
