Imam Khomeini Encyclopedia to be Published

Navideshahed: Imam Khomeinis Works Arrangement and Publication Institute in Qom will release the Encyclopedia of Imam Khomeini.

The research deputy of the institute told IBNA that the center has so far finished one third of the work. Besides, it is currently engaged with translation of a collection of Imams works into Arabic.

As Hujatoleslam Hassan Puya said, the encyclopedia is one of the institutes long-term projects which considers imams life and works from almost all aspects.

Issues like imams genealogy, ancestors, masters as well as social, political, scientific and religious stance are included in the encyclopedia.

Puya further added that the encyclopedia will have near 1,000 entries. Half of the entries have been prepared so far.

He also said that 50 of 60 works by Imam Khomeini have been rendered into Arabic by the institute and the rest will be done by the end of the current year in Persian calendar (March 2013). The collection will be published then.
