Imam Khomeini was the First Revolutionist in its True Sense

Navideshahed: Imam Khomeini(RA) was the first legitimate revolutionist in all rights who shook the world while protesting through the Islamic ways and fought for the noble cause, said Amrish Singh Gautam, Deputy Speaker of Delhi Assembly, in New Delhi on Sunday.

Talking to IRNA on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the demise of the leader of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini (RA), Amrish said: "He was a man whose lofty ideas and ideologies bore numerous fruits not only for the Iranians or Muslims but all oppressed people around the globe".

"At the time when everyone in gaining material things had lost the spiritual values, Imam Khomeini revived spiritual values and religion," noted Indian leader. He (Imam) showed the proper way to gain material things without losing spiritual values, Amrish added.

He further said that Imam Khomein restored human dignity and advocated promotion of lofty human values, establishment of social justice and equality for all, of which he was the preacher.

"These were the characteristic of Imam that impacted not only Iranians or Muslims but the people around the globe. The real and great tribute to Imam on the occasion will be to just follow his ideologies," concluded the Indian leader.
