Khorramshahr Liberation, a Great Historic Event

Navideshahed: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran called epic of liberation of Khorramshahr a great and historical event saying, "The liberation of Khorramshahr manifested an awe-inspiring victory of the Iranian nation that terrified all the power hungry of the world."

According to the IRIB, during the inauguration ceremony of three petrochemical projects in the southern port city of Mahshahr on Monday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad added,"The entire material and diabolical world gathered together to break this nation who wanted to remain dependent and dignified with its culture and faith to administer itself and not extend his hand in front of others."

The Iranian president reiterated, "All economic, political, propaganda and military powers were mobilized to break this nation but the Iranian nation stood putting their trust in God and with the divine favour defeated all of them."

Ahmadinejad called the liberation of Khorramshahr as the victory of all values and conquest of the trench of all devilish powers stating, "This event was a miracle on which Imam Khomeini said: 'God liberated Khorramshahr' meaning all intentions, became godly, all people joined together and put their trust in God, so God helped Iranian nation."

Expressing satisfaction at exploitation of great petrochemical projects during recent years, the Iranian chief executive said that the production of petrochemicals have reached 54.5 million tons from the previous 25 million tons.
