Merkava Tanks

Navideshahed: One of the outstanding martyrs of Lebanon's Hezbollah during the 33-day war against the Zionist regime was ‘Rabi Jafar Gheisar’.

According to Mashregh News weblog reporter, Hamid Davoud Abadi Writes in his weblog, The Memories of War:

Rabi was a member of the great tribe of Ghiesar in the town ‘Dir Ghanun Al-Nahr’ located in the southern province ‘Soor’, Lebanon. He played a significant role in the victory of Lebanon Islamic Resistance Movement.

The first adductive military operation of Lebanon's Hezbollah took place in 1983 by the elder brother of Rabi which means martyr Ahmad Gheisar. During this operation tens of officials and intelligence members of the Zionist regime were killed. During the past 40 years, the Iraqi Baathist regime never observed such causality during a single day.

Also in Tehran a street has been named as martyr ‘Ahmad Gheisar’.

Musa the other child of Gheisar’s family was also injured several years later so badly by the hand of Zionist forces and due to this injury he was martyred as well.

Rabi Gheisar was born after the martyrdom of his two brothers and it was the destiny that he becomes of the fighters of Lebanon Islamic Resistance Party as well.

Rabi during the 33-day war which took place in the summer of 2006 entered the battlefields with the nickname ‘Haj Ali’. He was the authority of an anti-armored team and after hunting 8 to 10 anti-nuclear Merkava Tanks was targeted by the aircraft of the Zionist regime and he was martyred.
