Khoramshahr Conquest to be Commemorated in Malaysia

Navideshahed: Coincided with Imam al-Baqir birth anniversary, the anniversary of Khoramshahr conquest (May 23) will be commemorated in Malaysian Capital, Kuala Lumpur.

According to the announcement of Iranian Scientific Mission in South-East Asia, a celebration will be held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia at the same time of Imam Bagher (AS) Birthday Anniversary in order to honor the Khorramshahr victory.

During this occasion a photo show conducted by Reza Borji, the Iranian photographer and documentary filmmaker will be held as well.

Reza Borji has recording the images of the eight year war of Iran-Iraq and cooperation with the institute of Fath Narration in the artistic background of himself. Also he experienced taking photos in the war zones outside of Iran including Bosnia.

This Iranian artist has held 15 individual exhibitions in Iran and some other countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Pakistan, Germany and Italy.

The celebration to honor the Khorramshahr Victory Anniversary will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 17:00 to 19:00. Also the exhibition of Reza Borji will be held on May 22-23, 2012 at the Cultural Hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Embassy.
