Afghans Protest Strategic Pact with US

Navideshahed: A protest was held in Kabul city by Afghans. During this protests the Afghans expressed their opposition to the strategic pact by chanting the mottos “Down with USA” and they considered keeping quiet against this strategic pact of Washington as misfortune and misery.

According to Fars News Agency quoting Afghan Voice News Agency (AVA), the protest held in front of Milad Nabi mosque, Kabul city and the clerics, Jihadi figures, political and cultural activists, universities' professors and thousands of Kabul university students attended the protest as well.

The protesters gathered together with the National Unity Front calling for and they expressed their sharp disapproval against strategic pact through letting out slogans such as 'Allah-o-Akbar, death to America.'

Pointing to Quran, Engineer Ahmad Shah Ahmad Zai , the chief of National Unity Front, said the Muslim country should not be under the colonization of infidel powers so the strategic pact signed by president with West is never acceded by Afghanistan nation especially Olama, clerics.

He added signing the strategic pact with U.S means that Afghanistan will be controlled and colonized by U.S beyond 2014.

Ahmad Zai said those signed the U.S-Afghanistan pact had ignored the Afghanistan values and martyrs' efforts who protecting the Islam and Afghanistan culture gave their lives.

Sangin Ahmad Rahmani, the head of Afghanistan People Support Front, on signing the strategic pact indicated Afghanistan soil and its people rights of freedom have been misused.

The current government won the crown illegally based on unfair election he stated.

The strategic pact since fails letting the Ulama, cultural and political activists know about its details could be considered as illegal.
He added "we will cooperate with neighbor countries like Iran and Pakistan as much as we can due to not having had conflict with them."

Pointing to the Afghanistan nation stance against the Soviet Union army resulted in their army withdrawal, Hojjat Ol Eslam Val-Moslemin Seyyed Hadi Hadi, the chairman of Payambar-e- Aazam Cultural Center, said the Afghan nation has been dealing with corruption and war.

He added: “Those persons who support the strategic pact of United States of America, they frighten the people of Afghanistan that if once again the United States forces to get out of this country, this nation will face with a crisis and murders of people again too.”

He added according to clerics, the strategic pact is prohibited since it will bring progressing war to Afghanistan.

It should be noted that in the Ramadan month of last year, thousands of clerics from all around Afghanistan issued a judgment regarding the strategic pact with United States of America and they considered the presence of foreign forces in Afghanistan illegal and prohibited.

Ahmad Farid Yektan, a member of National Unity Front and a Strategic pact opposed, concluded unless Afghanistan nation react against the strategic pact, Afghanistan will be led to misery and instability.

The Strategic pact of Afghanistan and United States of America has been signed during the nightly trip of Obama to Kabul.

The opposition of Afghan people with this pact took place while the cooperation document between Kabul-Washington to be sent to the Afghanistan’s parliament to be approved.
