Turkey's Public Opinion Influential in Ankara Political Approaches
Navideshahed: “Because of the Turkey Public Opinion toward Israel, the country try to cut its relation with the regime of Zionism,” said the Middle East Affair Analyst.
“At this time because of the public negative opinion in Turkey toward Israel and also the current condition in Arab countries such as Egypt and Libya, Turkey tries to cut its relation with the regime of Zionism in order to increase its penetration into these countries,” the Middle East Affair Analyst, Mohammad Ali Mehtadi told Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Mehtadi pointed to Turkey policy and the expulsion of Israeli ambassador from Israel, adding that” the UN report about Israel attack to flotilla Ship was political.”
“It was arranged in Israel’s favor but the report also underscored that the regime used violence in that event,” he underlined.
“The report delivered by the United Nation and via this way recognized the Gaza blockade by the regime of Israel.“
“May be the United Nations recognized the regime of Israel as its member and support the regime in closing its border with the Gaza strip but the organization does not recognize blockading the Gaza Strip and deterring ships to go to and out of the region,” Mehtadi mentioned.
“The president of Turkey announced that the report submitted by the United Nations was political,” said the political analyst stating that via this act (supporting the regime by the UN) Israel has been encouraged regarding what it did to the Flotilla ship and would not apologize to Turkey for that depraved act.
“Turkey was forced to insist on its demand about expelling the Israeli envoy, and the president of the Turkey finally met this appeal ,” he underlined.
Mehtadi went on, “By choosing this position Turkey decreased its relation with the regime of Israel more than before and this policy satisfy the public opinion of the country.”
"Considering the extremist characteristic of Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and the regime Foreign Minister, Joe Lieberman; it is unlikely that Israel apologize to Turkey, so this condition and such relation between Turkey and the regime of Zionism will be continued," he said.
“We should consider that the left opposition party in Israel excoriates the regime strongly and insists that Israel should apologize to Turkey, since having relation with Turkey as a Muslim country is so important for Israel,” the Middle East Analyst mentioned.
He underlined,” In addition, they say that the Israeli Maneuver held each year in the east of Mediterranean and cutting relation with Turkey is not logical and acceptable regarding this case.”
“Despite of the pressure of the left party, it seems unlikely that Israel apologizes to Turkey,” he underscored.
“Turkey played a consequential role in recent uprising and revolutions in Muslim countries especially in Egypt and Libya; so Turkey should expand its range of penetration in the regime by cutting its relation with the regime of Israel," Mehtadi Continued.
“Turkey is the member of NATO and finally will have some relation with this regime but the current condition in the Middle East make the country take such position and its obvious that the country will not cut its relation with the regime completely,” he mentioned.
The End
