Hashem was born in a religious family in 1967. Due to religious atmosphere in his family, he started to learn religious and moral lessons, Islam commands and reading Koran since childhood. Since his father was a calligrapher and painter, he was interested in arts since that time. He participated at calligraphy and painting contests of the province since he was 13 years old. He received several ranks in these contests. He entered primary school at the age of 6 years old. He started activities in resistance group of “Agha Ahmad” Mosque of Shiraz when he went to high school. He patrolled at nights and wrote slogans and painted religious pictures on walls during the day. Hashem achieved high ranks in sports too. He chose Gymnastic and received some ranks in his province after working hard. When the activities of divers in Division 19 Fajr started, he joined this group. Following working hard on this field, he was assigned as the diving coach in Division 19 Fajr. This artist Basiji was shot by an enemy’s bullet in “Karbala 5” Operation while he was painting a picture in the front line of battle field.
