The present study aims at achieving the reasons for success and fall of the shahed students in high school and guidance school studies in Kohkilooyeh and Boer Ahmad and presenting solutions to the organizers so that they are able to uproot the causes of falling and help their success. The research methodology is descriptive and of a statistical kind. The research community includes all the male and female shahed students during the academic year of 2003 in high school and guidance school in Kohkilooyeh and Boer Ahmad. The volume of the samples was 176 people; 31 from guidance school 144 of them were from high school. They have been chosen by cluster sampling. The means of collecting data was a self made questionnaire by the researcher. In order to analyze the data descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentages, average and variance was used. According to the findings of this research self- confidence, appropriate nourishment, encouragements by the family members, successful friends and living in a family where love and understanding runs are effective elements for the success of the of the students while having no confidence, un- successful friends, lost of father, bias of the teacher toward the students are accounted for as the major causes in the fall of the students.
