The present study focuses on studying the Qur’anic Verses about martyrs and martyrdom and presenting the results to those students who are interested in this subject. This project includes four chapters; the first chapter discusses the annotative meanings of martyrdom; it also runs at the meanings of this term from people’s points of view. The second chapter is dedicated to the meanings of martyrdom and martyrs in the Qur’anic Verses; the third one has the investigation of martyrdom for the sake of God as its subject matter and the final chapter, chapter four, will focus on life of martyrs.
